TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The club will be administered by Tremorfa Property Ltd, or by any other nominated person. The owner shall solely determine the facilities of the club; any amendment or replacement shall be at the owner’s discretion.

It is the aim of Tremorfa Property Ltd to provide a pleasurable part of your leisure time. To that end we have put together some simple ‘terms & conditions of membership’ which we hope will ensure all members and guests are able to enjoy the club safely and without inconvenience.


ACCESS

Members must present their membership card each time they visit the club. Hotel guests must present their hotel checking in slip, not their key card. The club reserves the right to refuse entry without presentation of these items.

Entry will be refused to anybody believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn in the club, bar, gymnasium, studio, squash courts and swimming pool areas. Swim suits must not be worn in the public areas of the hotel.

No animals are permitted in the club other than guide dogs.

The club reserves the right to close the facilities without prior notice should the need arise. Whenever pos­sible advanced warning will be given.

Last entry to the facility is 30 minutes before closing; opening times are displayed in the leisure reception area.

Members may be accompanied by a maximum of two guests at any one visit, unless prior arrangements have been made with the club manager. A guest fee applies based on the current pricing tariff.

Only adult members are permitted to sign a guest into the club,

Non members caught entering the club by attempting to use a members card or QR code will result in the members membership being revoked without any refund given.

The club reserves the right to refuse admission to any guest.

The club reserves the right to terminate membership without any given reason. (Refunds may be available subject to circumstances of membership termination).

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

A Health Questionnaire must be completed upon sign up and if there are any changes in circumstances with a member’s health a new questionnaire must be completed.

Please shower before using the swimming pool, spa bath, sauna and steam room.

Please note that shaving, or the drying of clothes is not permitted in any of the facilities or changing areas.

Running, jumping, diving or any other activity that may cause harm to other pool users is not permitted in or around the pool area.

Member’s must accept responsibility for their guests and ensure that they abide by the terms of the mem­bership. Members must remain with their guests at all times.

Food and drink are not permitted on poolside or in the changing areas.

Glass and crockery is not permitted anywhere in the club expect in the reception/lounge bar areas.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the club.

Prior to using the gymnasium, a physical activity Pre exercise questionnaire must be completed and signed. If you have answered a ‘yes’ to any of the questions asked, we strongly recommend that you visit your general practitioner for clearances before use of the gym is permitted.

By agreeing to the terms and conditions you are also confirming you will abide by the Club  Covid-19 guidelines and will not use the club if you have covid at present.

 

All members should pre-book their fitness activity slot where applicable in order for capacity to always be maintained at the designated levels.



Guests are still welcomed but need to be booked in advance and be accompanied by  a member and contact details must be taken.

 


CHILDREN

Children under the age of 16 may use the club, but only when accompanied by a responsible adult.

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the gym unless they are attending a Junior Gym session or are a Junior Gym Member (14-15yrs old) and have completed their gym assessment with a Personal Trainer. Junior Gym members must then always be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian.

Children under 16 are also not allowed to use the sauna, steam room or spa bath.

All child swim ratios must be adhered to or the adult members membership is at risk of being revoked. The Ratios are as follows:

There must be one adult to every two children under the age of sixteen who use the pool; there must be one adult to every one child under the age of five who are entering the pool area. All children must be supervised in the same facility by a responsible adult whilst on the premises.

There is no guest entry fee for children under the age of 3 years.

Adult Only Swim Times are weekday mornings 06.30am - 09.00am and weekday evenings 19.30pm - 21.00pm

 

ADMINISTRATION

The club management reserves the right to reject any application for membership without giving a reason.

Members whom are abusive to other members or staff will have their membership terminated. This also applies on our social media platforms as well as in club.

The club fees and tariffs shall be determined by the club and may be altered at any time. Members will be notified in advance of any changes.

The club reserves the right to terminate the membership of any member without notice in the event of a member committing a serious breach of the clubs terms of membership.

On cancellation or termination of membership, no refund will be made.

The membership minimum term is 3 full months effective from any joiners starting from 1st October 2024.

All members who wish to cancel their membership must do so in writing following their 3 full month minimum term giving 1 full months’ written notice from 1st October 2024. This must be put in an email to the Leisure Manager or Physically in writing at the reception desk. Attempting to cancel via the app or over the phone is not acceptable and will not be processed accordingly. If for example the membership cancellation notice is submitted on the 5th October then the whole of the following month is still taken and the membership concludes at the end of November.

Cancelling the Direct Debit prior to providing cancellation notice in writing will result in charges being added and the account being placed in default automatically.

Membership’s cards are only for use by the member and are not transferable under any circumstances. Should any member be caught giving their card for others to access then the member will have their membership terminated.

Members can suspend their membership medically without charge upon supplying a doctors note to the club as proof.

Members can suspend their membership up to twice per year at a charge of £10 per month per person. Suspensions must also be for a minimum of a calendar month.

Where membership discounts apply such as being over 65, proof of age must be shown and the onus is on the member to bring this to the attention of the club in order for the amendment to be actioned.

Leisure Membership Payments are now monitored and processed by The Harlands Group as of December 2019. All Membership payments are taken on the 1st of the Month and should a membership payment default then charges may apply.

Personal Training sessions paid for must be used within 12 months of purchase. This is applicable to all Personal Training sessions purchased from January 1st 2023.


OTHER ITEMS

Radios, Speakers, mobile phones and other items likely to cause annoyance may not be used in the club unless headphones are used or the device is turned to ‘silent’ mode.

Ball games and inflatable toys and rafts are not permitted in the pool unless incorporated in to a planned children activity. Mobile phones and photos are also not permitted on poolside.

Lockers should only be used for storage of personal belongings whilst using the club.

Some lockers require padlocks which can be purchased at reception or can be brought from home.

Property is stored at the owners risk and the club will accept no liability for loss or damage.

Lockers will be cleared every 24 hours and all items removed with the padlock removed.

Please do not consume your own food and/or drink on the premises. 

The club reserves the right to dispose of any items not claimed within four weeks.

The club reserves the right to amend these terms at its absolute discretion. Notification of changed will be displayed on the notice boards.


DATA PROTECTION

We take the privacy of our members seriously. This statement explains the ways in which we use your per­sonal information. If you have any queries with regard to out processing please contact reception.

We collect personal information from you through the membership form and your use of facilities, the infor­mation we collect may relate to your physical health or condition.

Members whom cancel can request we remove their details and destroy their data.

We use your personal information for the purpose of providing and personalising our membership services and providing you with information about products and services offered by us or our business partners and third parties.

We also collect special categories of personal data in relation to your health after completing a PAR-Q (Health Questionnaire) upon sign up or updating information after any health changes.

All information is kept confidential and if you no longer wish us to hold this information then please contact us.

MAINTENANCE

Management reserve the right to close any of the leisure club facilities for up to 2 weeks in any 12 month period for maintenance purposes. This closure will be at the discretion of the management team and no refund or concession will be made for this closure.
